What happens

  1. You writeInclude the page address (for example yourrestaurant.zoyaf.com) and tell us you own or manage the business.
  2. We checkA quick check that the request comes from the business — usually a matching email domain, a phone call to the number on your Google listing, or a message from your Google Business Profile.
  3. The page goesWithin three working days the page stops serving and returns a "gone" response, so search engines drop it.
  4. We tell GoogleWe submit the address for removal from search results and delete the cached copy.

Other options

Fix instead of removeWrong hours, old menu, closed location, misspelt name — send the correction and we will update the page rather than delete it.
Remove one detailPhoto, phone number or menu can be removed on their own while the page stays.
Take over the pageIf you would rather the page pointed at your own website, tell us the address and we will link to it prominently.

If you are not the owner

Anyone can report information that is wrong or a photo that should not be published, and we will look into it. Requests to delete an entire page, though, need to come from the business.
